MR RICE'S SECRET (2000)
Director: Nicholas Kendall
Writing credits: J.H. Wyman
Release Date: 16 March 2001 (Canada)
Genre

rama / Family / Fantasy
Tagline:It's what you do in life that counts.
Synopsis: Owen Walters (Bill Switzer) is a terminally ill 12-year-old boy. He and some of his friends, who are also sick, deal with the typical preteen realities of life -- bullies, parents, and sports -- but their lives are haunted by their apparent short life expectancies. Owen has developed a special bond with his somewhat eccentric next-door neighbor, Mr. Rice (David Bowie), who opens Owen's mind to ideas of philosophy. Sadly, Mr. Rice dies. But Owen discovers that Mr. Rice, in the days before his death, prepared an elaborate treasure hunt that only Owen, if he uses all the planted clues, can find. Owen and his friends go to great lengths and against great odds to find the treasure, and when Owen finds it, he discovers the treasure is buried inside himself".

THE PRESTIGE (2006)
as Nikola Tesla... he's absolutly great here! I couldn't believe he was David... he even change his way of speaking in a very natural way... I was very impressed!!! 0.0 I love to see him acting!!! he seems to enjoy it so much and it's absolutly enjoyable and inspiring!
Btw, I found Nikola Tesla life very similar to David's in certain points, wich was a nice thing. I love how Mr. Bowie manage to do characters related to his feelings and searches in life, it's an awesome thing to do and he do it. I'm glad he do what he is interested in, that is the most inspiring thing about him.

GLASTONBURY (2006) -Documentary-
Tagline: The mud. The music. The madness.
Plot: Glastonbury is now the best known, longest running and most pre-eminent music festival in the world. Fuelled by a staggering range of music, the movie will embrace the spirit, characters and overwhelming experiences of the festival as it reflects the extraordinary world changes of the last three decades.
In 1970, a young farmer named Michael Eavis opened his 150-acre farm to 1,500 people who paid one pound each to watch a handful of pop and folk stars perform all weekend long, and the Glastonbury Festival was born. The following year, several rich hippies, including Winston Churchill's granddaughter, provided funds to enlarge the event, and 12,500 people turned up to see David Bowie and Joan Baez. For most of the past 30 years, the Worthy Farm in Glastonbury has provided a delirious outdoor concert for thousands of people over the summer-solstice weekend at the end of June. Julien Temple (director of the Sex Pistols documentary The Filth and the Fury

spent a few years collecting footage from every single Glastonbury Festival, ranging from professional outtakes from the film Nicolas Roeg made about the 1971 event to amateur home videos collected from the attendees themselves, often retrieved from forgotten corners of closets and attics. Interweaving images of impromptu art happenings, skeptical locals, and stirring performances by music legends, not to mention the unbridled energy of each successive generation of youthful music fans, Glastonbury skillfully chronicles the evolution of the longest-running music festival in the world.
